2024 Fellows
A key element of the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association’s mission is to promote, through educational opportunities, traditional cowboy craftsmanship among all demographics throughout the North American West and beyond. In addition to annual workshops and seminars one way the TCAA promotes the traditional cowboy arts is through its fellowship program, which covers costs associated with pairing a novice craftsperson with an established TCAA artist for a year of mentorship. With previous fellowship recipients including current TCAA members Beau Compton and Troy Flaharty, the fellowship program has proved life-changing for many of its recipients. The TCAA’s most recent fellowship recipients — silversmith Jill Latno-Yamate and bit & spur maker Larry Lorang — have been invited to participate in this year’s exhibition and sale.
