Artwork No. 19
Crafted of sterling silver with accents of 14K rose and yellow gold, this buckle recognizes the enduring responsibility of providing for and protecting family and community.
The front features a hand-sculpted buffalo skull crowned with rose gold horns, representing strength, endurance and respect for life-sustaining resources. Surrounding the central figure are American-style single-point overlay scrolls that create movement and continuity throughout the design. Crossing the composition is a hunter’s spear adorned with a yellow gold spear point. Eagle feathers, secured with wrapped yellow gold wire, symbolize guidance, honor and tradition.
The reverse continues the story through a silhouetted scene depicting a great provider in pursuit of three buffalo — reflecting determination, sacrifice and the commitment to provide for those entrusted to one’s care. The buckle also features a sterling silver and yellow gold tomahawk adorned with two feathers alongside a sterling silver and yellow gold arrow, reinforcing themes of readiness, provision and protection.
Created as a reminder that true wealth is found not merely in what is gained, but in the traditions of responsibility, generosity and providing security for family and friends, Brings Plenty is an heirloom statement piece, Didyoung said, meant to be worn but also passed down.
